Professional Experience
Senior iOS Developer | Meisterlabs GmbH
Apr 2022 - Jul 2025 | Vienna, Austria
- Worked on MindMeister iOS and MeisterTask iOS, two production apps used by MeisterLabs customers worldwide, starting on MindMeister and later moving to MeisterTask.
- Contributed to large mixed UIKit and SwiftUI codebases following MVVM with async/await and Combine, with newer product modules built SwiftUI-first.
- Worked on a new architecture effort after the company decided to fold a planned third product into the main apps instead of shipping it standalone.
- Built feature-based Swift Packages to introduce modularisation and isolate new product areas from the main app targets, and integrated a Kotlin Multiplatform package built by a colleague into the app's data flow.
- Handled offline-capable behaviour using Core Data, SQLite and custom synchronisation logic to keep local and remote data consistent.
- Took over CI ownership for MeisterTask iOS, maintaining the fastlane and GitHub Actions workflows, and wrote XCTest unit tests and XCUITest end-to-end tests for production features.
- Collaborated with Product, Design, Backend, QA and mobile teams, and for the final two months acted as the company's only iOS developer, keeping MeisterTask running solo.
